Spring fever strikes again! After winter's dormancy, life, new life, springs forth! We see it and we feel in nature. It's a time for rebirth and rejuvenation in our natural world.

In this Year of the Horse that began on February 12, 2002, we may notice that our spirits are wanting to stir also. Something is beckoning, urging us to begin anew, with new aliveness, spontaneity and creativity!

It is such a great time to take stock of our lives now; to see if we are living the way we'd like to. The sunshine pours in through our windows brighter each day for longer periods it seems, revealing our homes and what we live with more clearly. Similar to the sun shining in, to ask ourselves some questions may reveal what has been amiss and concealed. After addressing these areas that have been overlooked, we may have more energy to be alive, spontaneous, and free! Utilizing our environments as mirrors, which clearly reflect back to us what is going on inside of us, is a powerful start. Some call it Spring Cleaning!

We want to feel and be at home in our homes! We want to be empowered in our lives. Remember that everything is alive; everything is interconnected; and everything is always changing! Consider this an adventure and an exploration into who you are now and who you intend to be! Here are some valuable questions for you to ask yourself:

1. Is there a room or rooms in your home where you just feel immediately wonderful?

2. Are there areas of your home that you avoid being in?

3. Do you ever feel tired, confused, or impatient in certain rooms?

4. Do you notice that you are numb to your surroundings and that you notice them any more?

5. Do you feel bored with your surroundings?

6. Do you have a space within your home environment that is sacred to you? Your spouse? Your children?

EVERY SPACE COUNTS! THAT INCLUDES GARAGES, CLOSETS, BASEMENTS, AND ATTICS. Of course, it includes all other rooms also.

The thing to remember is that things that are in PASSIVE CHAOS, things that remain disorganized, cluttered, unused, are unconscious and they STAGNATE OUR ENERGY! You may be the only one who sees a closet full of chaos or an unconscious garage, but YOU are the one being constantly impacted by the stagnant energy there.

Also, clearly as important as cleaning up, clearing out, simplifying, and organizing our stuff, is for us to EXPRESS OURSELVES! Express yourself by having what you love and use around you! For a second pretend that you are free to make a room be just the way you'd like it to be. Would you change anything? How would it look? I'll call this Spring Creating! A Rebirth! Are you being as expressive in every area of your life as you would like to be? Enhance, enhance!
