Chrystal Charles
Clinical Intern
About me...
I am passionate, determined counselor in training who strives to help each of her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. As the first in my family to complete a college degree from the University of Connecticut, I understand the significance of mental health care for a mind in need.

By taking an integrative, empathetic, and judgment-free approach to psychotherapy, I work with adult clients to recognize their capacity for growth and healing by identifying and unlearning cycles of harm. I have taken my passion and dedication for mental health care and channeled it into completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.

Why should someone choose to work with me?

I offer a fresh perspective and bring a contemporary outlook to the work we do together. My academic training equips me with the latest theoretical insights and evidence-based practices, offering you innovative approaches to addressing your concerns. I provide personalized attention to our work together, a flexible schedule, and more time for in-depth discussion and tailored interventions that work best for my clients. As an intern, I am able to provide services at an affordable rate compared to a fully licensed therapist.
I bring enthusiasm and dedication to the work with my clients. This then translates into a high level of commitment, ensuring unwavering support during my work with my clients.

I receive rigorous training in cultural competency and diversity, allowing me the ability to approach your concerns with sensitivity and an open-minded perspective. As a result, I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for clients from various backgrounds.

The things I enjoy…
